Behind the Hourglass

Hello loves!

My name is Kenna, and I am the face behind the hourglass of Indigo Hour!

I am so grateful to be here and excited to share my jewelry with you all. Seeing all of my work come together has been SO incredible and rewarding and I am overwhelmed with joy every time I am reminded by all of your support.

I started making jewelry out of a personal need for something pretty, versatile, and that would last through all of the crazy adventures I find myself on. I am very excited for all that is to come and to share it with you guys.

I suppose while you're here, I can tell you a little bit about myself! I'm 29 years young and currently reside in the Kansas City Metro area. And let me tell you... as someone who grew up in small-town Iowa, and never discovered Chick-fil-A until I was in college... KC is incredible. There are endless amounts of new restaurants to try, things to do, and parks to hammock in. And the people I've met here have been nothing short of absolutely fantabulously wonderful and I would not be here without them.

I am a big believer in people belonging outdoors (though, honestly, I could REALLY do without all the bugs. I know they're good for the ecosystem and all, but.. you get me). I feel my absolute best when I have my quality time in nature with my two AMAAAZING puppies (they will always be puppies, thank you), Myla and Niko - we love camping, hiking, picnics, hammocking, reading.... all of it. and Niko loves it when we play fetch while camping, hiking, hammocking, go on picnics and read. 

Myla would love to torment her brother any chance she can (and also the cats), 

but in her free time you can catch her snoring away literally anywhere.

Ideally, we would spend all of our time camping and travelling and doing all of the exploring we could ever imagine. 

Unfortunately, some of us have to have full time jobs in order to support the toy-destroying habits of the others... not pointing any fingers or paws here.....
